Clifton Worsley is the pseudonym of Pere Astort i Ribas, Barcelona, (September 24, 1873 - March 13, 1925), music composer.He studied at the choir of the Basilica of La Mercè in Barcelona and studied piano with Llorenç Bau. All his waltzes were a great success, with many editions. The publishers of Paris, Leduc and Cª. and Schott Frères of Brussels, as well as others of Italy, England, and Spain, vowed to obtain the exclusive right to publish some of his waltzes.
